Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our client in the Gastonia, NC area! Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $31.25 - $33.65 (hourly, depending on skills and qualifications). Shift is 2nd shift 12-13 hours, 4:00pm-3:30am.

The overall mission of this position involves supplying auto parts and accessories to store locations. All team members will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where their assistance is required. May be responsible for performing any number of duties and functions, depending upon what department they are primarily assigned to. These departments may include: Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment Reclamation, Cycle Count, etc.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:


  • Is trained, certified, assigned and regularly uses lift equipment as needed.
  • Mark pallets with identifying store information.
  • Use the computer / RF scanner to enter records.
  • Use equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
  • Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free.
  • Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F. Unit)
  • Consistent, reliable attendance
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Solid outbound, selection, picking, prepared to drive equipment.
  • Prior experience driving stock picker, reach truck, etc.
  • MUST have 3 years experience in exempt leadership roles.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Additional Info
  • Required Overtime including weekends and holidays may be requested with little notice.
  • 2nd shift 12-13 hours, 4:00pm-3:30am

  • Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack or Forklift
  • Have specific vision abilities which include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
