What do you do at Headway?
As the CISO, I am responsible for making sure Headway’s and our client’s data are securely available to authorized users and protected from everyone else, while our systems are available 24×7. Additionally, datacenter & cloud operations, internal IT operations, 3rd party SaaS administration, and end user support roll up to me as well. Basically, through my team, I make sure everyone can do their job security and efficiently, all while keep out the bad actors wishing to do us harm.
What do you like most about working at Headway?
Headway operates like a family business in many ways, despite the size and scope of our operations. Through technology, we solve complex problems with scaling our services and centrally providing our core offerings without the need of physical offices in every market we serve. Headway shortens the typical decision-making cycle, making it able to react to changing client needs and the evolution of market forces, in which larger organizations sometimes take longer to adapt.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
In my free time, I enjoy ocean fishing (surf, pier, and boat), eating sushi, golfing, investing in real estate, spending time with my family, and thinking through business ideas with entrepreneurs. I often find myself talking about how people can adapt their careers to join the growing Cybersecurity industry.
