Part-Time Data Collector

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Part-Time Data Collectors to work on a research project. Data Collectors will work with 1st grade students in various schools in Kenai Peninsula Borough School District to assess students’ reading abilities. Data collectors will also do classroom observations of reading instruction. Though most of the data collection is done in person, some schools may allow virtual visits. Data collection will take place during 2024-2025 school year. Most hours are clustered at the beginning (fall) and end (spring) of each school year. Classroom observations can happen in the middle of the school year. Survey administrators are expected to work approximately 10-20 hours per week in the Fall and Spring, with flexibility. This position will require traveling between schools in Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.The approximate geographical region covered by this position is Ninilchik to Homer. There may also be opportunities to travel farther within the peninsula. All mileage will be reimbursed at the government rate. For distance trips, all travel expenses will be paid. The pay rate starts at $20.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Assistant/Courier, you will assist with the packing, staging, and preparing equipment and supplies. The pay for this position is $17-$18 per hour. Responsibilities of a Warehouse Assistant: · Labor intensive. · Assist with the packing, staging, and preparing equipment and supplies. · Assist with unpacking and cleaning supplies. · Other warehouse and clerical duties as assigned. · Assist with data entry of supplies in inventory management system. · Employee may be required to do business related driving using a rental van and daily driving during the early voting period. Essential Job Duties Include: Safely and efficiently use material handling equipment (Forklift) to unload, load, pull or move product and supplies throughout the warehouse. Safely transports finished goods to freezer, cooler and dry rack locations. Responsible for the accuracy of inventory transactions and the establishment of proper controls in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor. Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
