Field Interviewer
$18.13 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour health & welfare stipend

Looking for Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Field Interviewers!
Headway
Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Field Interviewers on behalf of our
client in the Duluth, MN (St. Louis County) area.
Applicants within an approximate 50-mile radius of this location may be
considered. As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct study enrollment interviews supporting the Parents Empowering Parents (PEP) study, which primarily focuses on assessing the effectiveness of services provided to parents involved with child welfare who have substance use disorder (SUD), an active child welfare case with an assessment that the children are not currently endangered and they are working to address the areas of concern that caused the case to be initiated. This is a multi-year study that includes a 45-minute
interviewer-administered baseline survey, plus another similar follow-up survey
approximately 15 months later.
This is a
part-time position and applicants must be available at least 20 hours
per week up to 40 hours per week based on availability of work. Applicants must
be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends when Respondents
will be available and must be available to attend a remote project training. A
tablet, keyboard and phone will be provided and is for use only on this
assignment. The compensation for this position is based on your location and
follows the Service Contract Act (SCA) rates. The SCA Rate for St. Louis County is $18.13 per hour, plus a
$4.98 per hour Health & Welfare stipend.
Responsibilities
of a Field Interviewer:
Follow all project specifications and
protocols
Administer and collect study informed consent,
including answering any questions respondents may have about the study
Conduct computer-based interviews by phone and
in-person with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
Issue and track respondent payments in the
form of a $40 Visa gift card
Conduct locating activities online and
in-person when Respondents are difficult to reach
Regularly report to assigned Field Manager
Exercise courtesy and professionalism to all
Respondents
Maintain confidentiality of all collected data
Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements of a Field Interviewer
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Good working knowledge of computers and strong
typing skills
Must have home wireless internet
Must have a private space to conduct
interviews
Must have own reliable vehicle and vehicle
insurance
This position requires candidates to consent
to the performance of a background check
Qualifications
of a Field Interviewer
Two years of experience interviewing or in
customer service
Social worker background or experience working
with state or local agencies supporting services for citizens dealing with SUD
and/or foster care are a plus
Both English and Spanish fluency is a plus
Exceptional reading, verbal, and listening
skills with the ability to multi-task
The ability to speak with Respondents using a
tablet and keyboard to record responses
Willingness to work in-person to locate
selected Respondents and schedule appointments and conduct interviews when they
cannot be completed by phone
Courteous with good communication skills and
“people” skills
Positive and self-motivated demeanor
Prior Field Research/Interviewing experience a
plus

Training
Must be available at least 20 hours per week –
including some daytime and some evening hours during the week as well as on
weekends when Respondents may be available
May work up to 40 hours in a week, based on
the availability of work and project needs
Project training is paid and will consist of
approximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home, as well as 3 days of
group training sessions conducted remotely via WebEx
Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” for
their participation and completing the approximately 45-minute interview,
Respondents will receive a $40 Visa gift card.

Full-Time Study Coordinator

searching for Full-Time Study Coordinators. Study Coordinators are at
the core of our client’s business. Our client is seeking a motivated,
detail-oriented candidate to carry out health education and study coordination
duties.
The
person hired will implement a health education program with male-identifying
and non binary youth involved in the legal and child welfare systems, and will
conduct duties related to the evaluation of this project, including: recruiting
participants for enrollment in the study, facilitating a multi-session
relationship and sexual health education program with participants, maintaining
contact with all study participants while they are enrolled in the study,
administering questionnaires, conducting data entry and quality assurance
checks, and managing data collection materials and incentives.

Hours: This is a full-time grant-funded position, supported
through 2027.
Travel: This
position requires local and out-of-state travel. Reliable and consistent
transportation is required. Travel and local mileage will be

Starting wage: $19-20/hour with benefits
Location: Positions will be based in
Charleston, Morgantown, and the Southern Region (including Fayette and Mercer
counties) West Virginia (one position planned per region). The study
coordinator will work from the West Virginia Division of Juvenile Services
Youth Reporting Center (YRC) offices where the study is being implemented
within the region; regular travel between the sites will be required. The study
coordinator will also be engaged in field work, meeting with study participants
at multiple community-based offices/public locations in the region.
Start date: The anticipated start date for this position is early May 2024.

Telephone Polling Interviewer (Remote)
$14.50 to $15.00/hour
Remote

behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Remote Telephone
Polling Interviewers to support research studies. As a Telephone Polling
Interviewer, you will be responsible for calling potential respondents,
asking the appropriate questions and recording their answers using a Computer
Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system. This opportunity is a part-time
position (offering 9 to 28 hours per week) and pays $14.50 to $15 per hour,
with paid training starting in mid to late April. Data collection
will continue into November 2024 and there will be a possibility of continued
employment beyond November 2024.
