Survey Research Intercept Interviewer

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Survey Research Intercept Interviewers to conduct brief, in-person interviews with visitors at the Indianapolis Zoo from September 27th through October 30th (see schedule below). This role offers full, paid virtual training and on-field support. Ideal candidates will be persuasive, energetic, friendly, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour Responsibilities: Travel to the Indianapolis Zoo, 1200 West Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46222, for a 4-hour shift. Engage and intercept visitors to complete a brief survey (3-4 minutes) using an iPad, focusing on their experience at the Zoo. Maintain confidentiality of respondent information and survey details. Adhere to project guidelines and best practices for survey research. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times during interviews. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Follow dress code: company-provided polo shirt, lanyard with credentials, khaki or black slacks (no jeans), and comfortable walking shoes. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in market research, particularly in field, intercept, or phone interviewing roles. Confident and outgoing, comfortable asking people to complete a brief survey. Ability to meet project goals for the required number of completed surveys per hour (approximately 5 per hour). Must check in with the project director upon arrival for each shift. Professional and self-motivated. Familiarity with Apple products (iPad). Physical Requirements: Ability to adapt to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Capability to walk and stand for extended periods (4-hour shifts). Ability to climb stairs as needed. Able to lift and carry an iPad and project materials (up to 2 pounds). Proficient in using hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or electronic controls; capable of reaching with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
