Research Interviewer - Remote
$14.00-$15.00 per hour
Remote
On behalf of
our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking experienced
Telephone Interviewers to work remotely. As a remote telephone interviewer, you
will conduct telephone interviews with randomly selected respondents for the
California Department of Public Health Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance
System (BRFSS) study. Requirements include excellent communication skills,
reliability/punctuality, and a clear speaking voice for telephone
communication. The compensation for this position is $14.00-$15.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
of a Research Interviewer:
Follow project
specifications.
Conduct
telephonic, computer-based interviews with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
Exercise
courtesy and professionalism to all respondents.
Maintain
confidentiality of all collected data.
Strong
computer, interpersonal, and typing skills.
Other duties as
assigned by manager.
Qualifications
& Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or
equivalent AND 1 year telephone service experience
The ability to
speak with respondents using a headset and a keyboard or mouse to record
responses.
Ability to
correctly pronounce medical terminology.
Exceptional
reading, verbal, and listening skills with the ability to multi-task.
Good working
knowledge of computers.
Strong typing
skills.
Positive and
self-motivated demeanor.
Remote
interviewers must have home wireless internet Download speeds of 50 Mbps or
better.
Remote
interviewers must have a private space to conduct interviews.
Training,
Schedule, and Shifts
All training is
paid and will take place across 3-4 weekday evenings before you begin dialing.
Schedule:
This is a part
time position beginning in May 2024 that will run for approximately 9-12
months.
Interviewers
will work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 40
hours a week.
Interviewers
will be required to work at least 1 weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
each week.
Each
interviewer is required to select from the available start and end times for
the days they choose. Typical Available shifts available are:
Monday –
Friday: 5 or 6:00 PM – 9, 11 or 12:00 AM ET
Saturday: 12:00
PM – 4 or 5:00 PM ET
Sunday: 3, 4, 5
or 6:00PM ET – 9:00 PM ET

New York Metro Airport Intercept Interviewer
$23.00-$24.00 per hour
Queens
On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking outgoing and motivated Intercept Interviewers to conduct face-to-face interviews in the New York Metro Area with travelers at John F. Kennedy International Airport for a short-term assignment. As an Intercept Interviewer, you will receive full, paid training and support while in the field. Interviewers must be persuasive, energetic, friendly, and self-motivated, but also organized and detail-oriented. This position offers $24.00 per hour.
Responsibilities of an Intercept Interviewer:
Must have Real ID or valid Passport to be escorted through TSA to conduct interviews inside the terminal
Must attend mandatory, paid, virtual training tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th, details TBD
Work approximately 20 - 30 hours per week tentatively from Sunday, June 2nd - Sunday, June 16th in scheduled 6 hour shifts (tentatively 6am-12pm OR 2pm-8pm)
Travel to designated location at JFK International Airport
Conduct surveys using a project provided tablet
Be responsible for tablet and all other study materials
Keep respondent information and survey details confidential
Complete all other tasks as assigned by management
Opportunity for future assignments at JFK and Newark
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous field data collection or interviewing experience preferred
High school diploma or GED
Must enjoy interacting with all sorts of people
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance OR public transportation with easy access to JFK
Follow all health and safety protocols
Must treat all respondents with sincere professionalism
