Full-Time Study Coordinator

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is
searching for Full-Time Study Coordinators. Study Coordinators are at
the core of our client’s business. Our client is seeking a motivated,
detail-oriented candidate to carry out health education and study coordination
duties.
We
are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to carry out health
education and study coordination duties. This is a full-time, exempt position.
The person hired will implement a virtual health education program with youth
involved in the legal system, and will conduct duties related to the evaluation
of this project, including: recruiting participants for enrollment in the
study, facilitating a multi-session and sexual health entertainment education
program with participants, maintaining contact with all study participants
while they are enrolled in the study, administering questionnaires, conducting
data entry and quality assurance checks, and managing data collection materials
and incentives.
The qualifications for Study
Coordinator are as follows:
• B.A./B.S. preferred
• Strong interest and/or experience in conducting
high-quality research
• Strong interest and/or experience conducting
facilitated discussions on topics around sexual health
• Comfortable talking and working with adolescents who
are involved in the legal system
• Experience or strong interest in providing programs to
adolescents about healthy relationships and sexual health
• Ability to maintain clear boundaries with young people
• Experience working with youth who have experienced
significant trauma and/or involvement in the legal system
• Non-judgmental stance
• Belief in the inherent dignity and right to autonomy
for all people
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to
detail
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Commitment to our client’s mission: to produce
rigorous research and evaluation that benefits people by improving programs and
innovations that aim to improve social, behavioral, health, economic, and
employment potential
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; some evening and
weekend hours may be required
Hours: This is a full-time grant-funded position, supported
through 2027.
Starting wage: $42,000 to 43,000 /year
full-time exempt
Location: Applicants based out of New
Orleans are preferred; however, this position will be conducted remotely, so a
remote working arrangement from any location will be considered for the right candidate.

days) paid vacation per year, with increase to three weeks after one year of

Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) Juvenile Court and Community Schools

meeting with study participants at multiple community-based offices/public locations
in the region.

Field Interviewer
$18.64 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour health & welfare stipend
Pittsburgh
Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Field
Interviewers on behalf of our client in the Pittsburgh area. Applicants within an approximate 50-mile radius of this location may be
considered. As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct interviews with
parents and children and collect measurements on-site supporting the Mobility
Opportunity Vouchers to Eliminate Disparities (MOVED) study which focuses on
assessing the effectiveness of programs to lower poverty by providing
assistance to families to move to areas with greater opportunities. In
addition to conducting survey interviews, the data collection will include
taking height and weight, blood pressure, and A1c blood tests and accelerometer's (a.k.a. step counters). This is a
multi-year study.
This is a
part-time position and applicants must be available at least 20 hours
per week up to 40 hours per week based on availability of work. Applicants must
be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends when Respondents
will be available and must be available to attend project training. A tablet,
keyboard and phone will be provided and is for use only on this assignment. The
compensation for this position is based on your location and follows the
Service Contract Act (SCA) rates. The SCA Rate for Allegheny County is $18.64 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour Health &
Welfare stipend.
Responsibilities

Training

approximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home, as well as an 8-day
in-person training to be conducted in the DC/MD area the week of TBD based on selected candidates
Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” for

could receive up to $150 in incentives.
