Warehouse Associate

Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates for our client in the Remington, IN area! Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $18.00- $19.00/hour dependent on shift. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 40 - hour work week with potential overtime. This is a temporary position with potential to convert to a full-time position. We are looking to start individuals immediately!
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
Marks pallets with identifying store information
Uses lift equipment as needed once training and certification
are completed
Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have previous warehouse and RF scanner experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work full scheduled shift. Open to having flexibility to help on other shifts.
Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays that may be requested with little notice.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic
math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Field Interviewer
$18.35 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour health & welfare stipend
Nashville
Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Field
Interviewers on behalf of our client in the Nashville area. Applicants within an approximate 50-mile radius of this location may be
considered. As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct interviews with
parents and children and collect measurements on-site supporting the Mobility
Opportunity Vouchers to Eliminate Disparities (MOVED) study which focuses on
assessing the effectiveness of programs to lower poverty by providing
assistance to families to move to areas with greater opportunities. In
addition to conducting survey interviews, the data collection will include
taking height and weight, blood pressure, A1c blood tests and accelerometer's (a.k.a. step counters). This is a
multi-year study.
This is a
part-time position and applicants must be available at least 20 hours
per week up to 40 hours per week based on availability of work. Applicants must
be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends when Respondents
will be available and must be available to attend project training. A tablet,
keyboard and phone will be provided and is for use only on this assignment. The
compensation for this position is based on your location and follows the
Service Contract Act (SCA) rates. The SCA Rate for Davidson County is $18.35 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour Health &
Welfare stipend.
Responsibilities

Follow all project specifications and
protocols
Conduct computer-based interviews in-person
with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
Conduct locating activities online and
in-person when Respondents are difficult to reach
Regularly report to assigned Field Manager
Exercise courtesy and professionalism to all

Maintain confidentiality of all collected data
Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements of a Field Interviewer
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Good working knowledge of computers and strong
typing skills
Must have home wireless internet
Must have own reliable vehicle and vehicle
insurance
This position requires candidates to consent
to the performance of a background check
Qualifications

Two years of experience interviewing or in
customer service
Both English and Spanish fluency is a plus
Exceptional reading, verbal, and listening
skills with the ability to multi-task
The ability to speak with Respondents using a
tablet and keyboard to record responses
Willingness to work in-person to locate
selected households/Respondents and schedule appointments and conduct
interviews
Courteous with good communication skills and
“people” skills
Positive and self-motivated demeanor
Prior Field Research/Interviewing experience a

Hours and
Training
Must be available at least 20 hours per week –
including some daytime and some evening hours during the week as well as on
weekends when Respondents may be available
May work up to 40 hours in a week, based on
the availability of work and project needs
Project training is paid and will consist of
approximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home, as well as an approximately 4-day
in-person training to be conducted in the Cambridge, MA area, shortly after being hired for the position - likely in July or August but exact date and time TBD.
Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” for
their participation and completing the interviews and various health metrics, Respondents
could receive up to $150 in incentives.

Elections Assistant - Voter Registration/Absentee
$17-$18/hr

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Elections Assistants in Oxford, North Carolina. As a Elections Assistant, you will perform administrative tasks related to the voter registration system. The pay for this position is $17-$18 per hour.
Responsibilities of an Elections Assistant:
· Perform administrative tasks related to the voter registration system.
· Data entry of voter registration forms and absentee ballot request forms.
· Verification of other employee’s data entry by visual review.
· Scan forms using document scanners.
· Process and sort incoming mail and documents received over the counter.
· Customer service (in-person, telephone), answering incoming calls and solving election related questions.
· Log outgoing and incoming absentee ballot mailings in computer system.
· Assemble and package Absentee By Mail Envelopes.
· Fold and stuff outgoing mailings.
· Other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US.
· Must be available to work full day and must be able to work up to 50-60 hour work week (including weekends) during election season.
· Must be able to type (a data entry assessment is required).

· Ability to learn election laws and processes and explain them to customers.

Part-time Test Administrator
$23-$24 per hour
Clearwater
Headway
Workforce Solutions is seeking Reading Test Administrators to work on an
evaluation of a reading intervention program in the Pinellas County, Florida
area.
Reading Test
Administrators will conduct assessments of 3rd -5th grade
students’ reading skills in elementary schools in Pinellas County. In addition,
test administrators may be asked to assist in collecting parental consent forms
from schools. Individuals who have experience working with young children
between the ages of 8-12 are encouraged to apply, especially retired
teachers and substitute teachers!
Position Specifics
This position
will begin with an in-person training the week of September 9, 2024 in Pinellas
County on how to administer the Woodcock Reading Mastery Test, 3rd Edition, and Symbol Imagery Test followed immediately by two days of practice.
Testing will begin on September 12, 2024 and continue through October 2024. Please
note, that testing may end early. Reading Test Administrators should expect 35
hours of work each week during daytime school hours. Candidates must be willing
to travel to local schools and work as part of a team. Qualified candidates
must be available to commit for the entire length of the testing window. Reading
Test Administrators will only be hired if they pass all required background
checks and pass a simple study-created certification test on administering the
Woodcock Reading Mastery Test and Symbol Imagery Test.
Job Requirements
● Be available to attend an in-person training
tentatively scheduled on September 2, 2024
● Be available to work 35 hours/week from September
12, 2024 through October 2024, from 7:30 am-3:30 pm
● Access to personal, reliable transportation
● Be willing to travel reasonable distances to
reach assigned schools
● Strong interpersonal skills with both adults
and children
● Strictly adhere to AIR’s and the
school district’s procedures to protect the privacy of children and families
● Maintain contact with the testing team leader
and other project team members
● Submit completed assessments and
timesheets daily to the team leader
● Ability to work well independently and under
the direction of team leaders
● Pass School District required background check
and fingerprinting processes; follow all COVID-19 and other health-related
requirements of the district and AIR
Preferred Experience
● Bachelor’s Degree in education, child
development, psychology, or a related field
● Experience engaging with children from a
variety of backgrounds
● Experience working with early elementary
school age children (8-12-year-old children)
Training
Data Collectors will receive paid training in
person, tentatively scheduled the week of September 2, 2024. Attendance at
training is mandatory. Trainees
must successfully complete training to continue employment on the project.
Pay for this position begins at $24.00 per hour but will vary based on
role. Mileage will be reimbursed at $.67 per mile when traveling from one
school to another.
